What happened to the old Entreskills page?
A new version of Entreskills was released for the Fall semester of 2011. This new system has replaced the old Entreskills page with a new, updated look. In addition, the chapters of Entreskills have been imroved and expanded. You can read more about what is available in this version of the system here.
Can I log into the new version of Entreskills with my old username and password?
Because the update to Entreskills includes significant updates to our database and user management system, teachers and students wishing to use the new system must create a new account, even if they already had an account in an older version.
What do I do if my username and/or password is not available or not working?
If your username and/or password has been lost or does not appear to be working, you can click on the "trouble logging in" button which is located right below the login boxes on our front page (or click here to go there directly).

How do I register a student for one of my classes?
Students must register to have access to a class. During registration, a student will be asked to enter a "class code." Each class you create will have a unique code which identifies it and allows a student to request access.

What is a class code and where do I find it?
A class code is a unique number which helps identify which class a student is requesting access to. If you are a student, you will require this code in order to request access to the appropriate class. Your teacher should be able to provide this number to you.
If you are a teacher, you can find your class code by logging in and visiting teacher menu -> students and classes -> my classes -> details (If you have not created a class yet you will need to do so before your students can join). Please provide your class code to your students.

What if my student does not have an e-mail address?
In the event that a student does not have an e-mail address, we recommened that you have the student register using the teacher's email address or a dedicated class e-mail address. Username and password information will be sent to the address provided, and the teacher can then hand that information out to the student.
Why can't my students see anything when they log in?
Until a student has been approved by a teacher, they will not be able to access the Entreskills program. Make certain you have activated your students by logging in and visiting teacher menu -> students and classes -> my students.
Why can't I view the chapter work that my students have entered?
Please make sure that your students are selecting the "submit work" or "update your business plan" buttons after they input information into the system. They will need to do this for each box on a page. Filling out the information and then closing the window or advancing to a new section will not save the information they have entered.

I've encountered an error, what do I do?
Please report any errors you encounter using our contact page. Please include as much detail as possible, including what web browser you are using (for example, Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox) and what steps you took that produced the error.

I have registered and signed in, why can't I see the teacher or student menus?
If you are a teacher who has requested access to Entreskills, you will automatically receive your username and password in an e-mail. Your account still needs to be activated by a member of the Entreskills team before you will have full access to the Entreskills program. You will receive another e-mail when your account has been activated for full use.
If you are a student who has registered for a class, your account will need to be approved by your teacher before you will have access to the Entreskills program. Contact your teacher and make sure your account has been approved.
After your account has been activated for use of the Entreskills program you will need to log out and log back in for the changes to take effect.
